Role: Snowflake Architect

Bengaluru

Experience: 15+ Years

Location: Any / Hybrid (as per project requirement)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-scale data platforms using Snowflake.
• Lead migration of data warehouses from legacy/on-premises platforms to Snowflake.
• Design scalable data models, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions.
• Define Snowflake best practices, security, governance, and performance optimization strategies.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement data ingestion and transformation frameworks using ETL/ELT tools.
• Optimize Snowflake workloads, costs, and query performance.
• Develop and review data architecture, technical design documents, and implementation plans.
• Support CI/CD, automation, and DevOps processes for Snowflake deployments.
• Mentor technical teams and provide architectural guidance.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Snowflake Architecture and Administration
• Expertise in Data Warehousing Concepts
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and SnowSQL
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Matillion, DBT, Talend, etc.)
• Strong experience in Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensional Modeling)
• Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
• Snowflake Security, RBAC, Data Sharing, Time Travel, Cloning
• Experience in Data Migration and Modernization projects
