Site Supervisor (Electrical)

Aboutthe Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (Electrical) to supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical works in construction projects. This role ensures that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and incompliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and company quality standards. The supervisor manages in-house electricians and subcontractors, coordinates with other construction teams, and ensures a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

. Project Implementation & Coordination

o Supervisor daily electrical installation activities at construction site.

o Coordinate electrical work with project managers, engineers, architects, and other trades.

o Plan, schedule, and assign work to electricians and electrical subcontractors.

o Read and Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.

o Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities.

o Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or installation issues.

o Coordinate material deliveries and verify quantities received.

o Monitor installation progress to ensure compliance with project schedules.

o Monitor productivity and maintain daily site reports.

o Assist in testing and commissioning activities

o Maintain accurate daily reports, inspection records, and project documentation.

o Train, mentor, and evaluate electrical personnel.

. Quality Control

o Ensure all electrical installations comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.

o Ensure works follow local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

o Implement QA/QC procedures and rectify non-conformities.

o Conduct site inspections and quality checks before work handover.

. Ensure Site Safety and Regulatory Compliance

o Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements.

o Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for site workers.

o Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or a related field

Technical Skills

• Minimum 5-10 years of electrical construction experience, including minimum 3 years of experience supervising electrical installation projects.
• Experience supervising commercial, industrial, or residential construction projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and applicable electrical codes.
• Ability to read construction and electrical shop drawings.
• Familiar with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in project management tools and MS Office knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM is an advantage.
