About the Role

Lead the physical security operations of a mission-critical data center, managing a 24/7 team responsible for protecting people, assets, and infrastructure. As the Site Security Manager, you will build a high-performing, safety-focused culture while ensuring compliance with security standards and client expectations.

Working closely with Campus Security Managers and regional leaders, you will drive operational excellence, oversee access control and security systems, manage audits and compliance activities, and resolve client service issues. This role also provides leadership support across multiple sites when required, making it ideal for an experienced security professional who thrives in dynamic, high-profile environments and enjoys developing people, strengthening operations, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee 24/7 physical security operations across a critical data center environment, ensuring a safe, secure, and compliant workplace.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor security personnel, including supervisors, responders, control room operators, and administrative staff.
  • Drive recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development to build a high-performing security team.
  • Partner with client stakeholders and site leadership to support operational objectives and deliver exceptional service outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to security policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Monitor operational performance, identify security risks or gaps, and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee access control, security systems, incident management processes, and the maintenance of critical security documentation and reports.
  • Lead incident response activities, manage escalations, and support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders through briefings, meetings, presentations, and operational updates while providing leadership support across additional campus or regional locations as required.

Who We're Looking For

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 6+ years of experience in the security industry, including 3+ years in a people leadership role.
  • Experience leading security teams within data center, critical infrastructure, or high-security environments preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control systems, video management platforms, and incident management tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with reporting, documentation, and operational tracking.
  • Valid security licensing (where required), legal right to work, and ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations.
