Site Engineer – Hafeet Railway Project
Project: Hafeet Rail – UAE–Oman Railway Project
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team for the Hafeet Railway Project, a major cross-border railway infrastructure project connecting the UAE and Oman.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved program.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, surveyors, QA/QC, HSE, and other project teams.
- Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies or technical issues.
- Ensure proper execution of civil and railway infrastructure works.
- Monitor earthworks, excavation, embankment, drainage, concrete works, structures, and other related site activities.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain accurate site records.
- Ensure materials, workmanship, and construction activities comply with project specifications and approved standards.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure timely closure of site observations and technical issues.
- Monitor manpower, equipment, and material requirements at site.
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with project HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 4 of relevant experience in construction/infrastructure projects.
- Railway, metro, or major infrastructure project experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in earthworks, drainage, concrete structures, bridges, culverts, or track-related civil works is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and inspection procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred.
