SITE ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical advisor on site, interpreting blueprints and checking design calculations.
• Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site to map out the construction footprint.
• Supervising day-to-day site operations and monitoring contractor performance.
  Implementing strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across the site.
• Conducting quality control inspections on materials, workmanship, and structural elements.
• Resolving unexpected technical difficulties and design discrepancies on the spot.
• Liaising with clients, architects, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Preparing daily site reports, progress logs, material inventories, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer or in a similar site-based construction role.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD) and surveying equipment.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, codes, and occupational health and safety laws.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and communication strengths.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
• A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel or work on-site as required.
