We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to support the development of silicon photonics products, with a focus on electronic circuit design, PIC-IC integration, and hardware validation. The candidate should have experience in electronics hardware development and be capable of supporting system-level integration with photonic components. Key Responsibilities: 1. Select and evaluate IC components required for PIC-based systems, including drivers, TIAs, control ICs, and supporting circuitry. 2. Design electronic schematics and perform PCB layout, covering high-speed signals, mixed-signal circuits, and power management. 3. Design EVM/EVB (Evaluation Modules/Boards) for PIC-related ICs and system bring-up, including board architecture, stack-up planning, validation strategy, and test fixture development. 4. Evaluate PIC-IC packaging approaches, including electrical/optical interconnect design, bonding methods, and manufacturability considerations. 5. Select appropriate PCB materials and stack-up based on signal integrity, thermal, and mechanical requirements. 6. Perform system-level electrical testing and support optical-electronic co-validation activities. 7. Collaborate with PCB vendors, IC suppliers, packaging/assembly partners, and manufacturing teams to support prototype builds and production ramp.
