SIC (Sustainable Impact Capital) brings together nearly 200 entrepreneurs, business leaders, and angel investors to build a cross-border impact investment ecosystem. We focus on Healthcare, AIoT, AgriTech, Circular Economy, and Agentic AI, identifying and investing in startups with the potential to address global challenges.

As our investment portfolio and global network continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated team member with strong research, communication, and event coordination skills to help us expand our presence in Silicon Valley and connect with the broader startup and investment ecosystem.

▍**Position & Responsibilities**

**Silicon Valley Ecosystem Intern**

You will have the opportunity to work directly on SIC's investment and ecosystem-building activities in Silicon Valley, including:

▪ **Startup & Industry Research**

Conduct research on startups and emerging companies in sectors such as semiconductors and Deep Tech. Track industry trends, company information, business models, and competitive landscapes to support investment research.

▪ **Investor & Founder Outreach**

Connect with angel investors, founders, VCs, accelerators, and industry professionals in Silicon Valley to expand SIC's cross-border investor and startup network.

▪ **Investor Events & Community Operations**

Support the planning and execution of SIC's local investor events, Demo Days, forums, and networking events, including speaker and investor outreach, event coordination, on-site execution, and follow-up.

▪ **Silicon Valley Ecosystem Research**

Track startups, investment firms, accelerators, and technology events across Silicon Valley. Identify relevant companies, investment opportunities, and potential partners to help SIC stay connected to the local innovation and investment ecosystem.

Through this role, you will gain hands-on experience in **Venture Capital, Startup Research, Investor Relations, and Event Management**, while building a strong professional network across Silicon Valley.

▍**Requirements**

▪ Fluent in both **English and Chinese**, including **speaking, listening, reading, and writing**

▪ Strong interest in startups, venture capital, technology, or the Silicon Valley ecosystem

▪ Strong research, information organization, and communication skills

▪ Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively

▪ Interest in networking, event coordination, and cross-border engagement

▍**Work Information**

* **Location:** Silicon Valley

* **Work Arrangement:** Remote, with in-person attendance required for events

* **Time Commitment:** Approximately 5–10 hours per week

* **Compensation:** $20/hour
