JOIN US as a Service Engineer based out of our Taichung City manufacturing facility and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company working with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy. Time spent in this role is split equally between our site at Taichung City and out with customers in the field.
Role and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the prompt identification and resolution of Winbro manufactured machinery issues and breakdowns to ensure effective right first-time repair with a high level of customer service, always.
- Provide technical customer service and support during the installation, commissioning and servicing of Winbro manufactured machinery along with associated support equipment.
- Maintain, service and commission EDM, ECM and laser machine tools utilizing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and high-pressure water systems troubleshooting skills.
- Install and commission technical upgrade packages from mechanical, pneumatic and electrical drawings along with software & firmware updates of required components.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing preventive and reactive maintenance at customer site along with timely response to service requests.
- Provide technical support and service training both internally and externally while maintaining professional and technical knowledge.
- Service, maintain and build Winbro equipment within our Taichung City manufacturing facility, or at customer sites, as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement effort and the support of multiple teams.
- Create accurate completion of written and PC based maintenance records
- Provide periodic reports to management including customer complaints, trends, and suggestions for improvement.
- Additional responsibilities include customer relationship management, written documentation of service activities, and effective interaction and communication with internal technical support personnel, manufacturing and sales.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a skilled electrical and mechanical engineer with demonstrable experience of maintaining, installing and repairing complex equipment. Previous working experience with CNC machinery is ideal. The candidate must have a valid drivers license and be able to speak both English and Chinese.
