Join the LINE TODAY backend team as a Software Engineer, where you will play a key role in developing robust and scalable solutions for both the Taiwan and global markets. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in web server, application server, and platform development who thrive in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement LINE Today Content Portal features for Taiwan and global markets, utilizing the LINE platform and ecosystem.
Design and build core components with a focus on system performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planners, frontend developers, and QA, within an agile development environment.

Basic Qualifications

A passion for tackling complex challenges and the ability to devise effective solutions.
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related fields, with extensive experience in Java, C/C++, or other languages.
3+ years of experience with the full lifecycle of project development, preferably in developing web applications.
Proficiency in distributed system design, with a preference for experience in managing complex systems with various interconnected components, capable of handling high traffic volumes and ensuring seamless rollout.
A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the Spring Boot framework, SQL/NoSQL databases, web caching mechanisms, and data pipelines.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Innovative thinking and ability to work in a data-driven environment, using analytics to guide development.
