You will own issues end-to-end—from symptom → root cause → corrective action—working across hardware, firmware, and software teams.

  • OS (Linux logs, RAS, drivers)
  • Reproduce field issues using stress tools (fio, stress-ng) and lab experiments
  • Own customer escalations and RMA investigations
  • Drive root cause and corrective actions with cross-functional teams
  • Identify recurring issues and improve system reliability

Required Skills And Experience

  • 5+ years in server platforms, system debug, or failure analysis
  • Strong understanding of CPU/SoC, DDR, PCIe, NVMe, power/thermal
  • Hands-on experience with: System-level debug (HW + FW + OS), BIOS/UEFI and POST debugging, BMC / OpenBMC (SEL, sensors, IPMI/Redfish), Linux debugging (dmesg, journalctl)

Nice To Have Skills And Experience

  • Arm-based server experience (Neoverse)
  • OpenBMC familiarity
  • Customer-facing debug / escalation experience
  • Python or scripting for log analysis

Success Metrics
