Server Hardware Engineer

【Job Description】

1. Assist in architecture development, assessment, and concept incubation

2. Design engineering solutions for the platform and system

3. Collaborate with other hardware engineers or outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions

4. Conduct feasibility studies, design margin analysis, validation analyses, and empirical testing

5. Design, analyze, develop, modify, and evaluate key platform components; integrate sub-systems and firmware with hardware

6. Ensure integrated circuitry based on established engineering principles and development technology practices

7. Collaborate and communicate with management, internal peer functions, and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution

8. Develop and implement test plans including validation of hardware circuit quality/robustness, mechanical tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal, and system power

9. Evaluate reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques from prototype fabrication to production
