System Compatibility and Integration Technical PM (Commercial Validation, Peripheral test Focus)

Description

System Integration Technical Program Manager (TPM) leads ODM partners to ensure the qualification of full system hardware & software through the delivery of new commercial desktop, laptop and POS systems, with a specific focus on HP peripheral (Poly) validation on HP platforms. You are expected to work closely with internal functional groups and external ODM partners in full system compatibility testing across hardware and peripheral function testing, project planning, test issue resolution, and driving partner readiness to meet or exceed HP quality standards.

Education

Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience and Knowledge

Solid understanding of system-level hardware, firmware and software integration, Intel/AMD/Qualcomm design architecture, test planning/execution, and a proven track record of managing test teams for real PC or embedded device projects is essential. Experience in managing global ODM programs and strong analytic problem-solving skills are highly desirable.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2- 5 years of experience in PC integration testing on Intel/AMD/Qualcomm platforms, including display, camera, audio, peripheral, and connectivity module compatibility and validation.


• Hands-on experience in debugging drivers, firmware, HAL layers, and system services within OS environments.


• Engaging with HP Peripheral Core team to understand the latest planning and solution and sharing the know-how to the team. Providing feedback from end-user perspective.


• Join the Peripheral core-team meeting and work with test architecture to identify the priority if needed.


• Engaging with TPM for helping analyze peripheral issues from validation perspective.


• To work with quality team to analyze any escalation issue.


• Host workshop/training to ODM/internal team.


• Excellent communication and reporting skills in both English and Chinese, with experience leading cross-regional collaboration.
