Faculty of Medicine
Senior Technician
The appointee will work in the CU-Med Biobank, and will be responsible for managing routine operations, including (a) internal audits (b) ethics applications (c) risk management (d) database management (e) accreditation applications and (f) other duties as assigned by the supervisors. Working in multiple locations and outside normal office hours may be required.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related discipline (ii) at least 5 years of post-qualification relevant work experience, including at least 3 years of managerial experience in biobank operations (iii) relevant experience include, but is not limited to, standard operating procedure (SOP) drafting and review, ethics application and compliance, risk management, internal audits, ISO 20387 accreditation processes, training coordination, and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) development.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 1 year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
