Senior Technical Service Officer

The Role:

• Coordinate and monitor field service activities to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Work closely with regional outside plant and field service teams to deliver telecom services
• Liaise with Sales, Engineering, and other stakeholders on project matters
• Analyze workflows, data, and inventory to enhance operational efficiency
• Provide up-to-date guidelines to field teams and support special projects
• Negotiate with external parties and resolve service issues with internal teams
• Liaise with IOC and BMO in securing infrastructure access at customer premises
• Train, coach, and guide staff and contractors to ensure service excellence
• Manage relationships and develop tailored solutions for Premier customers
• Recommend system enhancements based on user requirements
• Act as Deputy to the Unit Manager when required

To succeed in the role:

• Degree holder with minimum 2 years relevant experience OR Higher Certificate with at least 6 years OR secondary school graduate with at least 10 years in a related field
• Solid technical knowledge of outside plant operations and field services
• Experience liaising with BMO and IOC is an advantage
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle challenging situations
• Adaptable, innovative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English and Chinese Putonghua is a plus
• Broad understanding of field operations and service management practices
