Duties

1. Teach courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
2. Serve as subject leaders in individual's specialism providing leadership in teaching
3. Be assigned responsibility as course co-teachers, contributing to the planning and development of courses and study programmes of the Department and other units for which the Department has servicing courses
4. Undertake teaching and teaching-related duties, as well as learning support and professional activities to enhance students educational experience and
5. Take up administrative duties as required by the Head of Department.

Requirements

A postgraduate degree in Finance/Economics or related disciplines. Candidates who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, and/or experience in educational leadership, curriculum development and programme management will be an added advantage.

Candidates for Senior Teaching Fellow should have substantial professional experience, expertise and recognisable achievements in non-academic settings and a distinguished record of teaching and administration, contribution to instructional development, with demonstrated experience and accomplishment in curriculum planning and student supervision.

Candidates for Teaching Fellow should have good professional experience and expertise in non‑academic settings, with experience in teaching and administration.

Candidates for InstructorI should have 4 years appropriate postgraduate full-time teaching experience. Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for appointment as InstructorII.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
