Role Summary
We are looking for a high-caliber, tech-savvy Strategic Partnerships Manager to accelerate Matchii's ecosystem growth across the North American market. In this pivotal role, you will lead the dual-sided expansion of our SaaS platform—nurturing high-value enterprise client relationships while scaling our agency partner network.
Furthermore, you will be the spearhead for our next-generation AI OS (Operating System) Business Development, identifying cutting-edge commercial opportunities, scouting strategic alliances, and closing complex, high-impact partnership agreements. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of SaaS ecosystems and AI innovation, possessing the commercial acumen to turn technical capabilities into scalable, revenue-generating alliances.
Responsibilities
1. Dual-Sided SaaS Ecosystem Management
- Agency Partner Network: Recruit, onboard, and manage strategic marketing and tech agencies across North America; equip them to leverage Matchii to drive client success, turning agencies into powerful channel multipliers.
- Enterprise Client Retention & Growth: Cultivate deep relationships with key enterprise clients, ensuring long-term product adoption, identifying up-sell/cross-sell opportunities through strategic joint initiatives.
- Co-Marketing & Co-Selling: Design and execute joint value propositions, case studies, and co-marketing campaigns with partners to continuously fuel the pipeline.
2. AI OS Business Development & Alliances
- Strategic Sourcing & Outreach: Identify and pitch to high-potential strategic partners (AI labs, tech platforms, software vendors) to embed or integrate Matchii's AI OS.
- Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end deal lifecycle—from initial conceptualization, business case definition, financial modeling, to negotiating complex commercial terms and legal contracts.
- Ecosystem Positioning: Position Matchii's AI OS as the leading infrastructure for enterprise commercial matchmaking in North America, driving category leadership.
3. Cross-Functional Enablement
- Feedback Loop: Act as the strategic bridge between external partners and Matchii's internal Product and Engineering teams, translating market feedback into AI OS feature requirements.
- KPI Tracking: Own and report on key partnership metrics, including partner-sourced pipeline, contract value (ACV/TCV), and integration adoption rates.
Qualifications
- Proven Track Record: 5+ years of Business Development or Partnerships experience within the B2B SaaS, Cloud, or AI technology sectors, specifically targeting the North American market.
- AI Acumen: Strong foundational understanding of AI technologies (LLMs, API integrations, workflow automation) and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts into business value for C-level executives.
- Deal Closing Capability: Demonstrated experience negotiating and closing 5- to 6-figure commercial agreements, technology integrations, or joint-venture partnerships.
- The Player-Coach Hustle: An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a partnership framework from scratch while actively picking up the phone to source and close deals.
- Communication Mastery: Native or near-native English professional proficiency, with exceptional presentation and storytelling skills tailored to North American business culture.
