Senior Specialist, Continuous Improvement
Job Description:
The Role:
- Identify improvement opportunities in business processes and manufacturing operations from the perspectives of Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety (QCDS), and lead initiatives through execution.
- Educate and train operators and engineers in Kaizen (TPS), Lean (Yellow Belt, Green Belt), and Six Sigma methodologies.
In this role you will:
- Engage operation employees and engineers to foster and sustain a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture.
- Document improvement activities and outcomes as standard work and best practices.
- Lead variation reduction and yield improvement initiatives using Six Sigma method.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- Experience in manufacturing e.g., Industrial Engineering (IE), Continuous Improvement (CI), etc.
- Experience in implementing one-piece flow, standard work.
- Experience proactively leading on-site improvement activities, such as Kaizen, process improvement, and standardization
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience participating in global meetings conducted in English.
Your success will be measured by:
- Has achieved clear improvements in quality, safety, cost, and productivity through CI activities and improvement projects.
- Has effectively implemented Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, standard work, VSM, variation reduction, and yield improvement initiatives.
- Has provided training on CI methodologies to operators and engineers.
