Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with PerkinElmer's business objectives to ensure cost-effectiveness and strong supplier performance.
  • Lead cost management initiatives and deliver sustainable cost improvement programs, maintaining a robust cost optimization pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and contractual agreements, while ensuring effective contract management, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to monitor industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Finance, and other departments to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
  • Drive supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives in alignment with PerkinElmer's corporate responsibility goals.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruptions.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate sourcing effectiveness, and provide regular reporting and insights to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within a global organization.
  • Proficiency with sourcing and procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba) and the MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills).
