Lead cost management initiatives and deliver sustainable cost improvement programs, maintaining a robust cost optimization pipeline.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and contractual agreements, while ensuring effective contract management, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to monitor industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Finance, and other departments to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
Drive supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives in alignment with PerkinElmer's corporate responsibility goals.
Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruptions.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate sourcing effectiveness, and provide regular reporting and insights to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within a global organization.
Proficiency with sourcing and procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba) and the MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills).
