Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in server and software/firmware testing. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of x86 server architecture and demonstrate proficiency in BIOS testing. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with developers and test engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of server software and firmware, including BIOS testing, to identify defects and ensure functionality.


• Collaborate with development teams to verify bugs, check information, and engage in technical discussions.


• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on defects and issues encountered during testing.


• Stay updated on new features, testing methods, and requirements to enhance testing processes.


• Configure and manage server environments, including network settings, DHCP, and VLAN configurations.


• Participate in the development of test plans and strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage of software features.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong understanding of x86 server structure and components, including CPU, Memory, SSD, HDD, RAID, and HBA.


• Proficiency in BIOS testing and related methodologies.


• Familiarity with popular operating systems such as Windows, RedHat, SUSE, and Ubuntu.


• Experience in server and SYSTEM TESTING, with a solid grasp of defect analysis techniques.


• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration with team members.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of network environments, including switch configuration and settings.


• Experience with various testing tools and frameworks.


• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and SYSTEM TESTING requirements quickly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
