Job Summary
As a
Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging high-quality software solutions using
Java and related technologies. You will work closely with our team to deliver solutions that meet customer needs, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a higher-level technical expert in design development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle.
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized university.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in software development using Java and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Core Java, JEE, Spring Boot, SQL/No SQL, REST, Hibernate, and JQuery.
- Microservices architecture.
- SOA-based application development.
- Front-end technologies (Angular 7+).
- Familiarity with databases and ORM technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare domain.
- Practice Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience of implementing Microservices.
- Java-related certifications and cloud-based certifications are a plus.
