Position/Title: Senior Software Engineer - .Net

The Senior Dot NET Engineer will be part of Quor Eka's technical team.

Experience & Skillsets

• Strong experience with established development tools, guidelines, and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server and C#.NET, Design patterns, SOA, Win form and Web form development
• Design, code, and test new Windows and web-based software applications
• Enhance existing systems by analysing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
• Create technical specifications and test plans
• Manage system performance, including troubleshooting bottlenecks, optimizing SQL queries, improving application responsiveness, and handling high-volume transactional and reporting data.
• Integrate internal applications with third-party tools, external systems, and downstream services using web services, service-oriented design, and reliable data exchange patterns
• Version Control and Collaboration Tools (Git, Github, AzureDevOps, TFS).
  
  

Must Haves

• Experience building scalable, maintainable, multi-tier systems on Microsoft stack.
• Experience with SQL Server, data modelling, query optimization, stored procedures, large data sets, reporting queries, and performance tuning.
• Experience of enterprise architecture, designing and implementation
• Able to make technical decisions to meet the design goals laid out in product road map and by management.
• Must have experience - ASP.NET, SQL Server, VB.Net, C#, .Net, WCF, Web services and Windows services, Windows applications, WinForms/Web Forms, any grid-based UI components.
  
  

Nice to Haves

• Hands-on programming, debugging, troubleshooting, defect fixing, and root-cause analysis across .NET applications, services, integrations, and database components.
• Exposure to Continuous Integration, delivery and deployment, version Control.
• Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS,) Frontend Technologies (React, Angular,) Security Best Practices (OWASP, IAM, Encryption)
• Experience working in product development.
• Exposure to CTRM/ETRM or risk systems such as Endur, Triple Point, Allegro, RightAngle, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Experience developing risk management software would be a bonus
• Knowledge of commodity or energy trading workflows, including deal capture, pricing, positions, exposure, settlements, and risk reporting, would be an advantage.
