Senior Software Engineer (1-year contract, frontend)

Working with a highly collaborative and diversifying group, you will be taking up a technical lead role to build and architect the digital services provided by Hong Kong Disneyland. Responsibilities:

• Accountable for software development plan, timeline, resources, and execute thoroughly for the delivery cycle with the best design and coding practice
• Work and interact with business and operations teams to refine business and operations requirements into clear technical requirements
• Continue to evolve our architecture and build better software to optimize scalability and availability of our systems
• Collaborate closely with vendors to review the deliverables, ensure the code quality is compliant with standa rds and integrate the deliverables with the core systems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices for maintainability, scalability and testability
• Provide 3rd tier support and advisories to the sustainment team and troubleshoot critical issues when necessary
• Recommend technologies and tools to improve our CI/CD tools, process and procedures

Basic Qualification:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 8+ years with full cycle of software development experience, preferrably with eCommerce and Digital industry
• Deep understanding of Angular & Node, with 2+ years of experience in using Javascript framework and developing large systems, Flutter is a plus
• Good team player with the ability to think beyond why behind your work and hunger to learn and apply your skills to solve work challenges
• Experience with Scrum and Agile development practices and Cloud-based and container services
• Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as software engineer
