We are inviting candidates for the position of:

Senior Social Media Executive

We are looking for a creative Senior Social Media Executive to join Iris Singapore Team in supporting Samsung's social media community, with a strong focus on Instagram community management and outreach. This role involves engaging and reaching out to the public, trend-watching and consolidating user-generated content taken with Samsung products for publication on Samsung's social media. This will provide many learning opportunities for anyone who loves all things social content and wants to build out their expertise in this field into a fledgling strategy career.

Job Description:

  • Source relevant user-generated content creator content and social conversations to inform creative direction and content strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for meaningful brand participation in communities, creators content and trending moments.
  • Monitor conversations, comments, mentions and sentiments to surface insights and engagement opportunities.
  • Monitor global social trends, internet culture, platform updates and creator movements.
  • Translate emerging trends into timely and actionable content and/or engagement proposals.
  • Proactively pitch reactive and trend-led content and engagement opportunities with clear brand rationale and execution direction.
  • Manage and respond to Instagram comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and on-brand manner.
  • Proactively reach out to members of the public to request photos taken using Samsung products and obtain usage permissions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate content submission and posting to the Samsung social media account.
  • Escalate sensitive or negative feedback appropriately.
  • Track engagement, outreach status, and content submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields.
  • 2 to 3 year experience in social media, community management, or digital content roles.
  • Strong written communication skills and a good sense of tone.
  • Familiarity with Instagram features and best practices.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging with the public.
  • Interest in mobile photography or tech brands is a plus.
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite or social media management tools.
