Job Description

Full-time | Taipei, on-site | NT$60,000+

Languages: Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese required

Start date: Immediate availability preferred

We're looking for someone who can turn a brand brief into a content strategy, write scripts that actually shoot well, and push work forward without waiting to be told what to do.

ABOUT ONTRACK

OnTrack is a Taipei-based content marketing agency. We work with regional and international brands across gaming, finance, consumer tech and lifestyle, producing short-form video, paid ad creative and brand content that performs.

Our production volume is growing, and we need someone who can lead the creative thinking and turn it into work our team can deliver.

THE ROLE

You sit at the centre of production. You take what a client needs, figure out how to make it perform on social, write the scripts, and give the team a clear brief they can execute without guessing.

You'll own creative strategy for assigned accounts and work closely with our Creative Director and production team. This is a hands-on senior role, with writing, planning and creative decisions every week.

This role requires fluent English and Mandarin Chinese, including the ability to write scripts and briefs, present ideas, and discuss feedback in both languages. You'll work with both international and local clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Research social trends, platform behaviour and competitor content across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, then turn your findings into actionable creative direction.
  • Write scripts for short-form video and paid ads, and develop UGC briefs in English and Chinese.
  • Build content strategies from scratch, including content pillars, formats, posting cadence and messaging angles.
  • Own creative strategy on assigned accounts, deciding what gets made and why.
  • Lead pre-production planning, including talent briefs and shoot structure, so the production team knows exactly what to capture.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director on the creative direction for major accounts.
  • Contribute strategy and creative thinking to client proposals and new business presentations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A deep understanding of social media: what performs, why it performs and how to apply that understanding to a brand's goals.
  • Strong scriptwriting skills, with a clear sense of how words, visuals and action work together on camera.
  • Experience building content strategies for brands, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to work confidently in both languages.
  • An understanding of paid advertising creative, including hooks, messaging angles and conversion-focused content.
  • Initiative and the ability to move work forward without waiting for perfect conditions or a fully developed brief.
  • The organisation skills to manage pre-production independently.
  • Availability to work full-time, on-site in Taipei.

GREAT IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience with gaming, Web3, fintech or consumer tech brands.
  • A background in UGC or creator-led content.
  • An understanding of video production workflows and experience on set.
  • An existing network of talent or creators.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is a senior individual contributor position. You should be comfortable leading a creative conversation in a client meeting and taking responsibility for your recommendations.

The role involves regular scriptwriting, strategy development and production planning. It goes beyond scheduling posts and writing captions, and it does not involve managing a department.
