Job Description

This position is responsible for driving sales performance of assigned oncology and neuroscience products within the designated South territory by effectively executing sales strategies, engaging key Health Care Providers (HCPs), and managing hospital listing and access processes. The role ensures all activities comply with Ipsen policies and applicable regulations while building strong customer partnerships and maximizing market opportunities to achieve business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

Execution of sales strategies

  • Achieves sales objectives within product range or assigned territory. Pursues sales leads, promotes products, close sales and arranges internal logistics.
  • Responsible for organizing sales programs.
  • Responsible for managing multiple priorities and sales related projects.
  • Implementing Marketing plan and strategies in the sales organization.
  • Provides relevant, thoughtful input to sales leadership, Hospital Account Specialist in regard to strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region

Customer and territory management

  • Builds and develops professional relationships with (but not limited to) assigned customers
  • Leverages expertise and knowledge of oncology, the marketplace, applicable competitors, industry and cross-functional activities/plans to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges
  • Understands hospital committee structure, P&T process (Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee Process)
  • , treatment and discharge protocols, DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) and hospital reimbursement process as it relates to the customers they are responsible for in order to maximize opportunities

Development of market potential

  • Reach market share targets in units.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationship with key opinion leaders
  • Prioritizes time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential
  • Anticipates potential barriers to achievement of goals and proposes responsible solutions for success
  • Develops and implements effective customer specific territory plans. Communicates insights to internal stakeholders

Ethics & Compliance

  • Understands fully the assigned customers product and business needs and works to meet those needs while adhering to all of company ethics and compliance standards.

Knowledge & Experience

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business major or Pharmaceutical related

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of documented, full‑time, and successful pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Experience in oncology, neuroscience, or urology therapeutic areas is highly preferred.

Languages

  • Basic English proficiency, including the ability to read and comprehend medical/scientific materials, product information, and internal communications.
