Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on sales professional with practical experience in medical equipment sales and project execution. This role supports the full equipment lifecycle—from customer needs assessment and procurement planning through tendering, delivery, installation coordination, acceptance and after-sales follow-up. The successful candidate will work independently in a lean, collaborative organization and take ownership of opportunities without requiring frequent reminders or close day-to-day supervision.
Relevant equipment experience, initiative and willingness to engage in fieldwork matter more than a specific number of years of seniority.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end sales opportunities: identify customer needs, develop accounts, support budget/procurement planning, prepare quotations and tender submissions, negotiate and follow through to contract award.
- Coordinate equipment projects across ordering, delivery, site readiness, installation scheduling, acceptance and post-installation customer follow-up; engage Service for maintenance and technical support as appropriate.
- Work directly with hospital users, procurement and biomedical/engineering teams, service engineers, installation contractors, distributors and other external partners to resolve issues and deliver projects.
- Conduct regular field visits, customer meetings, joint calls, product demonstrations and site discussions; proactively develop new opportunities and maintain a credible sales pipeline.
- Build productive relationships with distributors and channel partners, support joint opportunities, and identify potential new partners in line with company procedures.
- Collaborate with Service, Logistics, Marketing, Quality/Regulatory and other internal teams; communicate progress, risks, commitments and next actions clearly and promptly.
- Learn and represent the SWP portfolio, including surgical tables, surgical lights, ceiling supply units/pendants and operating room infrastructure solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Practical experience selling or supporting medical capital equipment, with an understanding of equipment procurement, project delivery and the customer lifecycle.
- Experience coordinating with technical stakeholders such as service engineers, installation teams, contractors or hospital engineering/biomedical personnel.
- Ability and willingness to work in the field, participate in joint customer visits and follow projects through multiple stages rather than focusing only on closing the sale.
- Strong self-direction, initiative, accountability and follow-through; comfortable managing varied responsibilities in a lean organization.
- Effective communication, collaboration and problem-solving with customers, partners and internal colleagues.
- Ability to manage sales activities and customer follow-up independently, with professional judgment and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications (Considered a plus / Not mandatory)
- Exposure to operating room or surgical equipment (e.g., surgical tables, lights, pendants or OR infrastructure).
- Experience with medical equipment manufacturers, local distributors or channel partners, including installation/project coordination.
- Established customer relationships and proven account development experience in Northern Taiwan hospitals.
- Familiarity with hospital tenders, renovation/new-build projects and long-cycle equipment sales.
- Working English communication skills are an advantage, but fluency is not essential.
Working Style & Success Profile
We value people who take initiative, actively seek solutions, learn independently, ask for support when needed, and work side by side with colleagues and partners to achieve shared outcomes. Product-specific training and coaching will be provided, while candidates are expected to bring foundational equipment-sales experience and a willingness to take ownership from the outset.
We welcome candidates at different career stages. Selection will focus on demonstrated capabilities, practical experience, attitude and potential—not tenure alone.
