Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join our Taiwan Wealth/Retail team in Kaohsiung. The candidate will be a member of our Wealth/Retail business development team for our Taiwan operations, work closely and report to the team leader, and support our financial distributor clients including banks, insurers, and securities companies in south Taiwan.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strive to achieve sales targets with a proactive approach to client engagement.
- Cultivate robust relationships with clients to drive sales performance and implement business strategies that meet both qualitative and quantitative team objectives.
- Actively gather and report client insights to identify new sales opportunities.
- Consistently work toward fulfilling assigned sales goals and contributing to overall team success.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape to strengthen Barings profile, reputation, and business resilience.
- Promote comprehensive solutions awareness across our client base.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork by collaborating closely with leadership and effectively utilizing firm resources.
- Deliver presentations for sales training sessions, client seminars, or meetings in a manner that professionally represents Barings.
- Remain informed on compliance regulations and requirements.
- Ensure all client and prospect contacts are accurately maintained within the system.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years experience in wealth or retail sales and business development within Taiwan's funds management industry preferred.
- Holds a bachelor's degree and a valid local securities license.
- Exhibits exceptional public speaking, presentation, and both written and verbal communication skills.
- Displays strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactively cultivates and maintains constructive relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Intelligent, highly motivated, and dedicated to achieving outstanding results. Demonstrates a diligent, execution-focused mindset with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
