Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local Regulation and OSH standard.
Provide leadership and guidance to the safety team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken by main contractor.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety practices into operational processes and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to safety and communicate relevant information to main contractor.
Develop and maintain relationships with external industry associations, to stay informed about emerging safety issues and regulations.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs by the main contractor.
Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure compliance with safety-related policies and procedures.
Act as a liaison between the organization and governmental department for site safety related issues.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Higher Certificate in construction-related discipline/safety management/safety-related discipline
Registered Safety Officer under F&lU Regulations Registered Safety Auditor and a member of one or more safety professional bodies
Minimum 10 years experience in safety management with at least 5 years in managerial level and in building construction safety
Experience with URA / MTRCL building development projects will be advantages
Proficient in PC applications including MS office and English & Chinese Word Processing
Knowledge of using technology such as 4S & AI on site safety management and monitoring
Self-motivated, initiative and with excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills
