Job Description

Join our highly-rated Equity Research team in Taipei and help further expand our market reach across Asia. You will be supporting a senior analyst covering the Technology and Semiconductor space in an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.

What role will you play

You will focus on updating and maintaining financial models/industry databases, managing market analysis and client presentations and briefings. You will also be writing, previewing and reviewing quarterly results, sector updates and thematic reports, and have the opportunity to generate new ideas and participate in coverage initiation on new companies.

By engaging with senior stakeholders of the companies covered, you will help build our client base and revenue over time.

What You Offer

  • Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative, economics, finance or similar discipline
  • 1+ years of prior experience in equity research gained from either sell-side or buy-side environments and/or sector advisory experience gained from reputable management consulting firms
  • Relevant experience within the Technology and/or Semiconductor sectors is an advantage
  • Strong numerical and modelling skills and well-versed in financial concepts like ratio analysis, valuation techniques and financial modelling
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English with fluency in Chinese
  • Self-motivated, logical and analytical lateral thinker with a passion in equity research, strong drive to succeed and willingness to learn.
