Job Description

Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company is actively seeking an experienced Senior Regional HR Operations Manager to join their established organization headquartered in the US.

In this role, you will play a vital role in leading the HR operations function, ensuring efficient execution of core HR processes, compliance with employment regulations and continuous improvement of HR systems and service delivery. The ideal candidate must possess APAC regional experience to be considered for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the HR function, ensuring timely and accurate execution of HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and contract administration, and ensure smooth execution of employee lifecycle events, including promotions, transfers, contract renewals, and terminations.
  • Manage and optimize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and user accessibility.
  • Oversee payroll processing in coordination with the payroll service provider, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, renewals, and vendor coordination.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws, data protection regulations, and internal policies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and proactively address compliance risks.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks and implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics such as headcount, turnover, time-to-hire, and employee engagement.
  • Support HR Business Partners in managing complex employee relations cases from an operational level and coordinate the operational rollout of regional and global HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with local requirements and effective communication across markets.
  • Lead or support cross-functional HR projects such as system implementations, policy rollouts, and organization changes.

Key Requirements:-

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
  • More than 10 years of HR operations experience, preferably in a multinational company with strong APAC coverage
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and proven experience in process improvement and compliance management
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of HR software and databases, proficient in MS Office
  • Strategic and commercial mindset with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
