Role Description
The quality engineer works with a team to manage all customer return protocols including confirmation of product failures, Supplier quality management, including the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, solutions for customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Quality & RMA Support: Provide comprehensive support for all customer quality requirements and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes, ensuring timely response and resolution.
- Quality Investigation & Troubleshooting: Lead quality investigations and facilitate effective troubleshooting between suppliers and customers to resolve technical or manufacturing issues.
- RMA Management & Process Improvement: Maintain and optimize RMA return protocols, implementing necessary measures and corrective actions to reduce failure rates.
- Supplier Management: Perform supplier quality management (SQM), including regular performance evaluations, quality audits, and ensuring compliance with product specifications and industry standards.
Other Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Work Experience: Minimum of two years of proven experience in Quality Control or Quality Management.
- Industry Background (Preferred): Prior experience in the LCD, LCM, or Industrial PC Industry is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
Knowledge and Skills
- Problem Solving: Proficiency in data collection and statistical analysis. Proven ability to resolve complex quality issues using (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, or PDCA).
- Communication: Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners.
