Drives understanding and continuous improvements of the overall Quality Management System and Product Quality Architecture. Assures compliance of internal and external specifications and standards.
Handles quality-related issues and abnormalities by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and driving preventive measures to ensure long-term resolution and continuous improvement.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish and maintain quality standards throughout production processes.
Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
Conducts quality assurance tests and performs statistical analysis to identify root causes and assign responsibility for non-conforming products or materials.
Audits quality systems to identify deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
Applies expertise in areas such as product design, incoming material inspection, production control, product evaluation and reliability testing, inventory management, and/or research and development related to product or process quality with CoQ concept and PQA methodology.
Assists and coaches team members and managers in project selection and implementation. Advises division or plant management on the use of quality tools, methods, and processes to achieve organizational goals.
Follows standard practices and procedure in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
Applies scientific and technological principles to ensure the integrity of manufactured products and processes, with a focus on design specifications, testing procedures, and quality standards.
Outsourcing supplier management and Product Reliability experience.
Develops and maintains Control Plans to ensure critical process parameters are monitored and controlled effectively.
Utilizes Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to proactively identify and mitigate risks in product design and manufacturing processes.
Education & Experience:
Master, major in Engineering, Statistics, IE and technical related field.
Training aligned with manufacturing & engineering institute learning journey.
Track record of delivering results.
At least 2 years of ISO/TL 9001 system management experience.
At least 5 years of QA management experience, in optical connector industry is better.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience with the six core quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans.
Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
