About The Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with a proven track record in automation testing and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Selenium, TypeScript, Playwright, Node.js, and Python. Will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with a proven track record in automation testing and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Selenium, TypeScript, Playwright, Node.js, and Python. Will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to QA automation strategy, planning, and execution for complex software projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, TypeScript, Node.js and Python
- API Testing using Rest-Assured, Postman, Swagger
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
- Perform code reviews for automation scripts to maintain high-quality standards.
- Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing practices.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects.
- 4-8 years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, TypeScript, Node.js and Python
- Proven experience in driving QA efforts for complex, large-scale software systems.
- Strong knowledge of test automation tools and best practices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Familiarity with continuous integration & deployment pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with Java and Selenium
- Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
