In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:
- Familiarize with the tools used in Data transformation (ETL)
- Familiarize with the development coding standard and vast python library for data processing
- Do code optimizations and maintenance
- Create new programs/apps based on market requirements
In six months:
- Develop algorithms to solve specific data problems and market requirements
- Manages data migration, transformation and backup and ensures data integrity and completeness
- Integrate code monitoring tools on all python libraries and scripts
- Develop automation scripts and graphical/interactive reports for support and market platform users
- Develop web based modules using python web framework such as Flask/Django.
In 12 months:
- Create helper tool / automationfor monitoring running and maintained scripts
- Contribute/Develop new libraries to update our every growing python libraries
What your day job looks like: (Replacing Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines
- Create, Optimize and Debug python scripts/notebook for social crawlers, data mining and AI modeling
- Debug & Optimize existing python and java programs
- Extract, Transform and analyze data for reports
- Collect and Transform raw data for AI modeling
- Monitor script execution and develop monitoring metrics to improve app monitoring capabilities
- Maintain and improve existing scripts/process
- Ensure that the system is scalable and maintainable
What you'll bring (For Soft Skills/Attitude):
- Experience in programming in Python and other scripting language such as Java, PHP
- Fast learner, able to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Great verbal and written communication skills (English)

Minimum qualifications (For Hard Skills/Non-Negotiable Skills):
- Advance Python development skills and object oriented programming model
- High proficiency in SQL (query, performance tuning, index management, etc.)
- Proficient on using Python Pandas and Dataframes
- Knowledgeable on various SQL/NoSQL data storage mechanisms and Big Data technologies
- Above average knowledge on data modeling principles
- Experience on Linux server environment
- Experience on API Integration
- Experience using ETL tools
- Experience on Elasticsearch is a plus
- Experience on Microservices is a plus
