Job Description

  • Be responsible for the program development of ESG rating program, and international standards management (e.g HKEX, GRI, IFRS, TCFD, CDP, GRESB, MSCI, S&P, EcoVadis).
  • Manage ESG data and coordinate with external rating agencies and internal teams, using strong communication and consultancy skills.
  • Offer management system review and development guidance, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
  • Develop work plan for clients, conduct gap analysis, facilitate ESG improvement plan, manage execution progress, and carry out internal quality review.
  • Provide consultancy on business ethics and procurement, focusing on corporate governance initiatives such as board effectiveness, enterprise risk management, management systems, and internal control assessments.
  • Support tool development and research for sustainability program developments.
  • Conduct in-house and public training, including the related training material preparation
  • Liaise with clients and manage client relationships on sustainability advisory projects.
  • Provide technical support to sales meetings from sales and account executives, including preparation and delivery of webinars and seminars to target clients.
  • Support capability building of sustainability project teams in China and Asia.
  • Report to the sustainability manager and support any ad-hoc sustainability programs assigned by the sustainability department management team.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business travel (including to mainland China and Asia).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in sustainability advisory, management consulting, or project management, and sustainability program development. Candidates with less experience in a related field may be considered for the project specialist position.
  • Broad experience and knowledge of different sustainability reporting frameworks and ESG ratings in the market.
  • Tracked records in handling sustainability/ ESG projects.
  • Capable of delivering public training and seminars for sustainability services or industry research.
  • Independent, well-organized, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and is able to drive changes through collaborations
  • Strong project planning skills with the ability to work of multiple projects and initiatives involving multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Pleasant personality, confident, with good presentation and negotiation skills, and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • High degree of fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).
