Senior Project Manager

Key Responsibility:

• Project Leadership & Coordination: Support project execution and ensure alignment with approved plans.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Monitor project standards and contractor performance.
• Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication between HDB, contractors, and technical teams.
• Construction Oversight: Supervise site works for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Risk & Cost Management: Track budgets, timelines, and propose solutions for delays or cost overruns.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records for project approvals and milestone tracking.
• Public & Safety Considerations: Address environmental impact and ensure site safety.
• Defects Management & Post-Construction Coordination: Oversee issue resolution and final project assessments.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Science, Project Management, or a related discipline (recognized by professional bodies like the Board of Architects, PEB, or BCA).
• Project Management Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing building construction projects, preferably HDB developments.
• Safety & Technical Certifications:
• Construction Safety Course for Project Managers (accredited by MOM).

1. Design for Safety Appreciation Course (accredited by MOM).
2. Registered Earthworks Supervisor Course (MOM-accredited).
3. Competency in Earth Control Measures (for construction site personnel).
4. CONQUAS Training (for developers & consultants by BCA).

• Strong Coordination Skills: Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, including technical professionals, resident engineers, registered technical officers, and contractors.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Experience in project budgeting, cost control, and delay mitigation planning.
• Compliance & Reporting: Familiarity with HDB policies, regulatory submissions, and managing e-submission systems.
