Job Description

Manulife is seeking an experienced professional to lead and support initiatives related to distribution compensation systems and processes.

This role involves acting as a subject matter expert, managing system implementation projects, and collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to ensure operational and compensation needs are met. The Senior Manager will conduct analysis to support compensation decisions, enhance models and tools, and drive process improvements for efficiency.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for distribution compensation systems, processes, and related operational procedures.

  • Lead or support system implementation initiatives, including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and postimplementation activities.

  • Conduct compensation and operational analyses, develop models/tools, and provide insights to support business decisions.

  • Collaborate with IT, sales leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure system solutions, compensation plans, and sales contests align with business needs.

  • Handle compensation inquiries and discrepancies, ensure data accuracy, maintain confidentiality, and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency.

  • Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline.

    • 8-10 years of relevant experience in operations, compensation, or financial analysis, ideally within financial services or distribution.

    • Strong technical skills, preferably with experience in system implementations and proficiency in Alteryx and advanced Excel (including Macros).

    • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.

    • High attention to detail, strong customer service mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
