As a Senior Production and Material Planner, you will serve as a pivotal bridge between global demand and manufacturing execution. Your mission is to orchestrate a realistic and high-efficiency production plan within a High-Mix / Low-Volume (HMLV) environment. You will be instrumental in stabilizing day-to-day operations, setting MOQ policies, and ensuring that the shop floor priorities align perfectly with customer commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison for production-related escalations, coordinating closely with HQ and global stakeholders.
- Oversee Work-in-Progress (WIP) and maintain impeccable data integrity proactively recalibrate plans in response to supply chain fluctuations.
- Architect and manage intricate production timelines using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to maximize throughput and guarantee on-time delivery.
- Conduct rigorous Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) to ensure a seamless balance between supply availability and market demand.
- Lead collaborative efforts with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics to eliminate bottlenecks and harmonize planning with technical realities.
- Monitor and interpret critical KPIs, including Schedule Adherence, Resource Utilization, and Manufacturing Lead Times.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to lean out planning workflows and mentor junior team members in industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5-10 years in Production Planning, featuring at least 3 years in a leadership or senior-level capacity.
- Proven track record in high-complexity, low-to-medium volume manufacturing (e.g., Optics, Aerospace, Medical Devices, or Electronics).
- Advanced command of ERP/MRP logic (SAP PP/MM, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Professional fluency in Englishis essential. Must possess a global mindset, with the flexibility to engage with HQ and clients across different time zones.
- Available for occasional international business travel and committed to an on-site work structure in Sriracha.
