We are a leading global brand dedicated to creating Smart, Helpful, and Bold baby gear since 2007. Our business has continued to grow exponentially, and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager (m/f/d) to join our global brand team.
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading product planning and execution across new product development projects and the full product lifecycle. The role ensures all projects and products align with defined scope and overall merchandising strategy.
This includes leading junior Product Managers and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Fashion and Industrial Design, Engineering, Sales, and Brand Marketing, to ensure successful and timely product launches.
What you'll do
1. End-to-End Project Ownership
- Develop and manage project timelines and work plans to ensure timely delivery of all milestones.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle, from concept through development to market launch.
- Monitor progress, anticipate risks, and adjust plans or resources as needed.
- Measure project performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
2. Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment
- Act as the central point of contact across Product, Design, Brand Marketing, Sales, Business Planning, Engineering, and Factory teams.
- Drive alignment on priorities, timelines, and execution strategies across all stakeholders.
- Establish clear and effective communication channels to ensure transparency and collaboration.
- Lead and support team members by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and providing guidance.
3. Product Strategy & Market Alignment
- Define product positioning and core messaging in line with business objectives.
- Align internal teams on product strategy, including features, pricing, and go-to-market approach.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
4. Launch Planning & Execution
- Coordinate product launch plans and timelines across all functions.
- Ensure readiness across teams and clear communication of launch details.
- Drive visibility and alignment to support a smooth and successful product introduction.
5. Data-Driven Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Define and implement actionable team metrics to improve delivery, quality, and collaboration.
- Establish regular review cadences (monthly/quarterly) to track performance and identify trends.
- Use data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and lead initiatives to improve processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by making metrics visible and linking them to team goals.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in product management, product development, or related roles within consumer goods, FMCG, or retail environments.
- Proven experience managing consumer products.
- Experience leading or mentoring junior team members.
- Native fluency in both English and Chinese.
- Strong cross-functional leadership experience, collaborating with Design (Fashion/Industrial Design), Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset, with experience using data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence senior key stakeholders across functions.
