Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager – AI with 6+ years of experience, including strong hands-on experience building AI-powered solutions within the EdTech domain.

This role will lead the strategy and execution of AI-driven learning products such as AI tutors, adaptive learning engines, intelligent assessments, automated feedback systems, and content generation tools. You will work at the intersection of AI, pedagogy, and product to create solutions that demonstrably improve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI-Driven Learning Product Strategy

• Define and drive AI roadmap focused on improving learning outcomes, engagement, and retention.
• Build AI use cases across:
• Personalized learning pathways
• AI tutoring & conversational learning
• Adaptive assessments & mastery tracking
• Automated doubt resolution & feedback systems
• AI-generated practice content aligned to curriculum standards
• Align AI initiatives with curriculum frameworks (US, India, and other global markets).

2. End-to-End Product Ownership (0→1 to Scale)

• Lead discovery with students, parents, teachers, and academic experts.
• Translate pedagogical goals into AI-powered product requirements.
• Own PRDs, experimentation roadmap, model validation cycles, and global rollout.
• Define metrics across:
• Learning efficacy (mastery improvement, assessment gains)
• Engagement (session depth, feature adoption)
• Retention & monetization

3. Deep Collaboration with AI/ML & Learning Teams

• Partner closely with Data Science and ML teams on:
• LLM-based tutoring systems
• RAG architectures for curriculum-aligned responses
• Recommendation engines for adaptive learning
• Evaluation frameworks for educational accuracy and hallucination mitigation
• Work with Academic/Curriculum teams to ensure AI outputs meet pedagogical standards.
• Define training data strategy grounded in real classroom learning behavior.

4. Global EdTech Market Understanding

• Understand differences in curriculum standards (US Common Core, CBSE/ICSE, etc.).
• Adapt AI experiences for different age groups (K–12 focus preferred).
• Analyze competitive AI offerings in the global EdTech landscape.

5. Responsible AI in Education

• Build guardrails for safe AI usage by minors.
• Ensure compliance with global student data privacy regulations.
• Establish evaluation standards for bias, fairness, and explainability in learning contexts.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of Product Management experience.
• 3+ years building AI/ML-powered products specifically in EdTech or learning platforms or Digital Health
• Demonstrated experience shipping AI-based learning features such as:
• AI tutors
• Adaptive learning systems
• Intelligent assessments
• Educational content generation tools
• Built AI coaching systems
• Strong understanding of:
• LLMs, GenAI, RAG architectures
• Personalization & recommendation systems
• Experimentation frameworks & learning analytics
• Experience measuring real-world outcomes or learning outcomes, not just engagement metrics.
• Proven cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Data Science, and Academic teams.
• Experience working with global education markets.
• Experience creating habit loops

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in K–12 digital learning products.
• Familiarity with learning science principles (mastery learning, spaced repetition, scaffolding).
• Technical background in Engineering or Data Science.
• Experience scaling AI features across multiple geographies.
