Confidential Search|Senior Product Engineer – QD

We are currently supporting a global engineered components company in recruiting a Senior Product Engineer – QD for its Taiwan team.

This role will focus on AI Server / Enterprise Hardware / Data Center liquid cooling applications, especially QD / Quick Disconnect related products.

The ideal candidate should come from the liquid thermal / liquid cooling product industry and have strong hands-on product design and manufacturing engineering experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design of liquid cooling related solutions and products for enterprise hardware customers.

• Review and define customer specifications related to liquid cooling, thermal performance, flow performance, product functions and reliability.

• Develop liquid cooling product concepts, calculations, simulations, mechanical designs, DFM and DFA.

• Design components, products or systems that optimize fluid distribution, flow performance and heat dissipation efficiency.

• Use professional tools or software to calculate, analyze and simulate thermal efficiency, flow rate, pressure drop and other performance requirements.

• Work with mechanical engineering teams on product design, CAD standards and technical documentation.

• Lead or support technical project discussions, internal design reviews, customer design reviews and Design FMEA activities.

• Create test plans based on customer and internal requirements, and support product validation and evaluation activities.

• Support manufacturing engineering on technical issues, tooling requirements, vendor support, prototype builds, pre-production and production launch.

• Support PPAP documentation and ensure product development follows internal and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

• 7+ years of design and manufacturing engineering experience in liquid cooling related industries.

• Hands-on experience with QD / Quick Disconnect, BMQC, PBMC, fluid connectors or related liquid cooling components is highly preferred.

• Strong R&D / product design background with real product design ownership.

• Experience in liquid cooling concepts, thermal / flow calculation, simulation, validation, DFM / DFA and manufacturing introduction.

• Familiar with pressure drop, flow rate, sealing, leak test, reliability, design verification or related performance validation.

• Experience with customer technical discussions, design reviews, test plans, D-FMEA, PPAP or production launch support.

• Good communication skills in English and Chinese.

Important Note

This is not a pure Product Manager, Sales, FAE or system thermal role.

The client is specifically looking for candidates with R&D background, hands-on product design experience, and liquid cooling / QD related product design and manufacturing experience.
