Position Overview We are seeking an Optical Packaging Engineer to develop and optimize optical coupling solutions for photonic systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in optical assembly processes and precision alignment methodologies. Key Responsibilities . Design and develop optical coupling solutions for laser-to-waveguide and free-space optical interfaces . Optimize active and passive alignment processes for sub-micron precision . Characterize and minimize optical losses in complex photonic assemblies . Develop testing methodologies for optical performance validation . Select and qualify optical materials including adhesives, lenses, and fibers Qualifications . PhD/MSc in Optics, Photonics, or related field . 3+ years experience in optical packaging and assembly . Expertise in optical alignment systems and characterization equipment . Knowledge of optical materials and their reliability properties . Experience with optical simulation tools (Zemax, FRED, or equivalent)
