Job Description
The Pricing & Contract Manager will play a critical role in developing and executing pricing strategies, driving pricing management excellence, and managing external price negotiations and contracts.
The role is responsible for developing and implementing optimal pricing strategies for both new and existing Ipsen products, ensuring effective price governance and sustainable patient access. This includes leading price negotiations with healthcare organizations and other relevant external stakeholders, while building and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships.
The Pricing & Contract Manager will also support the execution of commercial strategies based on scientific evidence, market insights, and a deep understanding of the healthcare environment. By leveraging multiple sources of market intelligence, the role will identify opportunities, manage pricing risks, and contribute to Ipsen's overall business objectives.

Pricing Strategy Execution & Pricing Excellence
- Monitor the local pricing landscape—including hospital pricing, tenders, and competitor activities—and develop mitigation strategies for potential risks and market developments.
- Develop and execute pricing and contracting strategies for new and existing Ipsen products, including external price negotiations with hospitals and relevant stakeholders, to maximize long-term value and support sustainable patient access.
- Embed pricing and contracting insights, risks, and requirements into brand plans and commercial strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Global Pricing to assess external reference pricing impacts, forecast net price evolution, and support business case development.
- Drive pricing excellence by strengthening pricing governance, processes, and cross-functional alignment across the organization.
- Maintain accurate and timely pricing and contracting records, monitor implementation and compliance, and provide regular updates on pricing performance, risks, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor Taiwan's healthcare environment and pricing policies at both national and hospital levels, and assess their implications for established products and pipeline assets.
- Understand hospital pricing, tender, formulary, and negotiation requirements, and translate them into actionable pricing and access strategies.
- Partner with Business Units to develop and execute hospital listing strategies, leading pricing proposals and negotiations to facilitate successful formulary access.
- Leverage sales data, pricing information, and customer insights to evaluate performance, identify opportunities and risks, and provide timely recommendations to management.
- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with relevant external stakeholders to deepen understanding of customer needs, pricing dynamics, hospital requirements, and competitor activities.
- Leverage external engagement and market insights to inform pricing strategies and achieve optimal, sustainable negotiation outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Business Units and cross-functional teams to align pricing, contracting, and hospital access priorities and ensure effective execution.
- Actively contribute to brand planning and key business discussions, bringing relevant pricing and market insights to support informed decision-making and successful operational plans.
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor of Business / Marketing / Life‐science / Pharmaceutical or a similar discipline
- Min. 5 years of experience in Pharma as a Marketer, Medical Representative, Key account manager or a similar role.
- Experience working on pricing management.
- Demonstrated strong capability in account management, superior selling competencies and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals in a specialist/hospital or similarly complex environment.
- Proven experience in successfully managing multiple international projects and deadlines in a hands-on manner, within a fast-paced work environment – in full compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Professional level in English in all aspect
