(Senior) Pharmaceutical R&D Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and provide clear conclusions and recommendations.
• Develop formulations and manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products, including planning and scheduling development activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product and process-related issues.
• Prepare and review regulatory submission documents (e.g., CTD. NMPA etc.).
• Support sourcing of new APIs and excipients.
• Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and general laboratory operations.
• Manage multiple projects effectively to meet timelines.

Qualifications

• Master's, MPhil, or PhD in Pharmaceutical Science, Industrial Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in formulation and process development experience with regulatory submissions preferred. (Candidates with less experience may be considered for Pharmaceutical R&D Scientist.)
• Expertise in oral solid dosage forms experience with other dosage forms is an advantage.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).
• Strong project management skills with proven ability to develop research plans and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Proficient in technical writing and presentation in English and Mandarin.
