Role Summary
This role provides project management and operational support within the department, with a focus on system enhancement initiatives and regulatory reporting maintenance. The incumbent will work closely with business, operations, and technology teams to ensure timely delivery of projects, accurate reporting, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end project coordination for system enhancement initiatives, including requirement gathering, timeline tracking, and stakeholder communication
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing regulatory reporting processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Business, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance) to track deliverables and resolve issues
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or gaps, and follow up on action items to ensure timely closure
- Maintain proper documentation for system changes, project updates, and reporting procedures
- Support data validation and reconciliation processes for regulatory submissions
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and control
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in banking, preferably in Trade Finance, Operations, or Project Management support
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies and governance frameworks
- Working knowledge of trade finance products, including Import, Export, and Factoring
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
