Job Description:

Role Summary

The objective of the role is to support the Product Proposition team to drive the entire product development process and provide technical support on life and saving products, so as to deliver the product initiatives in support of company's business strategy as well as business purpose.The candidate will be involved in a full process of product development, including research on market trends/clients needs, product innovation, product design, product implementation, product management, and product promotion.

Job Responsibilities

1) Market Research and Product Proposition

• Closely monitor updates and changes in HK and mainland insurance market, including but not limited to industry trend, competitor movements, market competitive analysis, market opportunities and threats, specific client segment to identify the potential business opportunity.
• Support target client research to constantly identify gap in SLHK's product to enhance Sun Life's clients impact.

2) Product Development and Management

• Assist in develop and implement products and other initiatives by adopting a disciplined project management approach.
• Assist in material preparation for the product development. Be responsible and pursue for quality of the project deliverables to ensure accuracy of product materials.
• Work effectively with all relevant departments across the company to implement projects on time and efficiently.

3) Channel Communication

• Handle enquiries and manage issues on product related matters

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing or related disciplines
• At least 1-2 years relevant life insurance experience in life insurance or financial industry
• Basic knowledge in insurance products
• Excellent knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
• With a proactive can-do attitude willing to think outside the box and put in the extra effort.
• A committed team player with a great sense of responsibility
