Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team focused on enhancing private banking services. This role ensures regulatory compliance while developing essential policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and grow the private banking operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Develop and formulate AML/CFT, KYC/CDD/EDD, customer risk assessment, and onboarding policies and procedures for private banking. Draft, review, and manage documentation including account opening papers, customer agreements, and essential product/service protocols. Provide compliance guidance on a range of private banking products and services, including deposits, financing, FX, insurance, and investments. Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to define system requirements and oversee the implementation of private banking compliance controls. Assess customer onboarding processes and ongoing compliance obligations, including KYC/CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting. Perform any additional tasks as delegated by leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Law, or a related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant compliance experience in private banking, preferably within a notable bank or established wealth management entity. Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in compliance regulations, particularly AML/CFT, KYC/CDD, sanctions, and customer risk assessments. Understanding of regulatory frameworks set by the local authorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
