The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
To conduct freezing surveys and compile and file relevant records
To implement project engagement programme after freezing survey by visiting affected owners, tenants and occupiers
To carry out site inspection and area measurement of properties and screening interviews with affected owners, tenants and occupiers
To collect data and documents and prepare assessment of the eligibility of affected owners, tenants and occupiers for various compensation, allowances and rehousing offered under the established policies
To negotiate and reach settlement with affected owners, tenants and occupiers
To carry out tenancy and rental administration and property management work
Requirements:
Degree holder in surveying / building / housing / property management related discipline
Minimum 3 years working experience in surveying, housing management or related fields relevant to the job requirements
Good communication skill in Chinese and English with ability to speak and communicate in Putonghua preferable
High integrity and initiative
Knowledge and experience in the legal formalities in sale and purchase of property would be an advantage
Knowledge in computer software
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Possession of a valid Estate Agent Licence will be an advantage
