JD:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience: Proven experience in network engineering, with a minimum of 4-6 years in a role focused on enterprise-level LAN/WAN and wireless networks configuration and support.
Technical Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure and AP hardware (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.).
Proficiency with wireless networking technologies, standards (e.g., 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), and security protocols (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X).
Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.) and network security principles.
Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Airwave).
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred :
Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CWNP, or CISSP.
Experience with cloud-based networking solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with scripting/automation languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
