Our client, a pharmaceutical company with an established presence across Asia, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Medical Representative to join their Hong Kong commercial team and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute territory sales plans and daily call activities to achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Conduct regular client visits to understand customer needs and deliver tailored communications
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, clinic chains and hospital contacts to support product adoption.
  • Explore business potential and conduct regular performance reviews of assigned territory
  • Maximize product awareness and brand penetration through effective detailing, product education and promotional activities.
  • Actively support new product listing and launch activities
  • Utilize available resources-including promotional funds, materials, and entertainment budgets-effectively to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, providing strategic insights to sales and marketing teams
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support company objectives

Role requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Medical, Pharmacy or related disciplines
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare industry experience in CNS or nephrology is preferred. Candidates with greater experience may be considered for senior or A.KAM roles.
  • Proven track record in account management, sales performance, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with local healthcare ecosystem
  • Strong business acumen, with excellent communication, interpersonal, numeric and analytical skills
  • Ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across cultures and cross-functional teams.
  • Objective-oriented, self-motivated, passionate, dynamic, and independent
  • Proficient in MS office applications, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
